This is where Cayce Pollard spent much of the day on 9-11. It's on West Broadway, New York. The Commissionaire wouldn't allow our photographer access to the staircase, so we improvised with a photo from the manufacturer, whose speciality is decorative ironwork, particularly manholes, drain covers and building buttons.
