You can join by just turning up...it's as simple as that.
We generally train most evenings but you can normally find Ray Scovell at the track most evenings.......(dedicated soul) or you can contact him at his e-mail address below. Why not come along and have a chat.

We have a both a strong field and track team and have scored numerous successes in both.
Some of athletes are ranked high in the All Time Rankings!!!!

Age is no barrier, we have teams for Juniors, under 15's, under 17's, junior men & women, seniors and veterans.

IWAC is based at Fairway Athletic Track, Sandown, on the Island's popular south-eastern coast.

The club is very broad-based. We include track and field, plus road running and cross-country. Membership is open to everyone, from 9 years up.

Isle of Wight Athletic Club has many coaches in all the disciplines.
We're engaged in league competitions in all age groups.

WHEN, WHERE, WHO?
The SENIOR ROAD RUNNERS meet on Monday nights in the Fairway Sports Complex (6.30pm) for competitive and non-competitive runs over a range of distances. They hold handicap and nominated races through the winter and summer months, with a summer track series as well.

The JUNIORS UNDER-11 age group meet indoors in the Fairway Sports Complex during the winter and on the track during the summertime (5.00pm-6.00pm). We call these sessions Fun In Athletics. The only time the fun stops is during the school summer holidays!

The older groups of TRACK & FIELD athletes meet from 6.00pm-7.00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays at the track all through the year.

CROSS-COUNTRY athletes also come into their own during the winter months.

INTERESTED IN JOINING?
We hope so! We're a friendly crowd, and our Development Officer, Ray Scovell, is the friendliest of us all. You can contact him at the click of a button on ray.scovell@virgin.net

Or just turn up at a meeting and introduce yourself.

And we look forward to seeing you soon!
